Other Recommendations:

•Strongly recommend using Enema treatment. Not eliminating enema, more unctuous, use sesame or sunflower oil

•After oil, before shower, gets rid of excess oil feeling apply sandalwood powder

Sleeping on back – disturbs Vata, never sleep on stomach, right side is cooling and gives more compassion, left side – left brain is heating.


•Diet should be bland, no oily, spices or spicy foods due to high Pitta. Steamed vegetables, cilantro, coriander, fennel, mild. Chew whole fennel seeds.

•Juice cilantro and drink 1 /day. Dilute pomegranate juice as well.

•Avoid citrus fruits, no lemons, oranges and grapefruits especially.

•Avoid drinking vinegar and any other sour items.

•No chili peppers or anything spicy.

•Don’t wear red, yellow or orange clothing. More cooling, blues are better.

•Listen to soft soothing – classical music.

•Bringaraj oil cools the fire in the body. Sunflower oil and sandalwood essential oils great massage alternatives. Also beneficial to focus on key body areas - minimum Scalp, hands and feet.

•blues – water bottles, other items great to enhance energy. Allow water to baste in sun creating ‘blue water’. Use this water for consumption, bathing, etc.

•Use either sunflower or coconut oil – more cooling oils. Olive, Sesame and Mustard are too heating. Canola oil is neutral energetically.

•Needs to follow a Pitta soothing diet with secondary Vata calming diet. Focus primarily of Pitta until skin rash clears.

•Consumes green tea toasted brown rice drink vs. coffee. Brown rice energetically is heating to

the body so in moderations is better. Peppermint tea is fine to use as well.

•Mantra incorporated – wants to take an antihistamine while meditating. Advised to chant in conjunction with 5 pillars of health.

•Taking amalaki in the p.m., neem and coconut oil applied to body. Camaduda, Guduchi and Shatavari herbal formula.
