 * light sleeper, falls asleep fast
 * drinks little water
 * anxious and then depressed when out of balance
 * one regular bowel movement a day
 * good appetite but eats at inconsistent times

 * yellow/green mucus every morning

 * no moons on fingernails, except one thumb (slow metabolism)
 * goes to bed late and wakes up exhausted at 8:00 am
 * doesn’t always hear well
 * sore knee joints
 * get easily attached

Patient’s Vikruti

vikruti = high vata, Vata memory disturbance

Recommendations

 * Drink two liters of water each day
 * Exercise daily
 * Go to bed at 10:00 pm and get up between 6:00 – 7:00 am
 * Follow daily routine
 * Rub warm [[bhringraj oil]] on the soles of feet before bed and on crown chakra 
 * Sleep on left hand side
 * Rub [[sesame oil]] on body before shower (oil repels water, helps dryness)
 * Don’t’ watch tv to reduce overwhelming of senses 
 * rub oil on knees in circular motion

Take 1 teaspoon of the following customized herbal formula with 1 teaspoon of ashwagandha wine and cup of warm water before meals three times a day for four weeks:

 * 5 parts [[ashwagandha]] (sooths vata, improves energy)
 * 4 parts [[shatavari]] (sooths vata, helps mensturation)
 * 4 parts [[bala]] (sooths vata, improves energy)
 * 5 parts [[jatamansi]] (helps anxiety)
 * 2 parts [[Jyotishmati]] (sooths vata, helps anxiety)
 * 4 parts [[licorice]] (harmonizes the herbs)
 * 2 parts [[chitrak]] (improves metabolism)
 * 4 parts [[Brahmi]] (sooths vata) 
 * 3 parts [[yogaraj guggulu]] (helps with back and joint pain)

Take 1 teaspoon of triphala one hour before bed.
