Custom Herbal Formula Prescribed:
3 shatavari -
3 musta - pain in upper back and digestive issues are based on striations of finger nails
4 Dashamula (for lower back pain and digestive…soothes Vata, Pitta but doesn’t disturb
Kapha), 3 licorice - best herb to sooth vata and offer sweetness
5 bacopa - soothes vata and kapha, does not disturb pitta Directions: 1/2 teaspoon 3x times per day for 6 weeks taken with 8oz of hot water (with raw honey for taste if needed) 40minutes before meals to help with colon
Herbal Oils (Massage, Nasya):
Apply oil prior to bath, the water pushes the oil, they repel each other and make the oil go deeper into tissue
Apply 3 to 5 Nasya drops twice daily mornings and evenings
•Use sunflower (a neutral) not warming or too cooling oil.
•Follow Vata Pitta soothing diet
•aromatherapy is great for shifting pain. Apply directly to each chakra
•Increase dairy intake and calcium supplements
•Avoid caffeine consumption
•Dehydrated due to lack of water, already started showing signs with dryness in skin.
•Apply sesame oil, it absorbs into skin nightly to soles of feet and legs. Avoid toasted.
•Vata should keep sleep to a min 6 hrs, strive toward 8
