Nails: Moon visible only on one thumb, lack of moons on index and middle (Vata), striation (Vata malabsorption), white spots indicate calcium limitation

Ama (Toxins) from Tongue Exam: Tongue has slight coating (ama) with red dots (Pitta) some fire

in the digestion. Also, a subtle crack along center of tongue, indication of possible back pain. Some cracks along tongue show signs of dehydration.

depression), beginning of cracks in the tongue but does not look like dried up mud, no Ama

Tremors: eye tremors…hyper quality that has gone into nervous system. Only in the eyes, not in the tongue, hands, etc.

Pain: moving around…very generalized. usually along back, spinal concerns

Onset of Menstruation: 12

Menstrual Difficulties: regular menstruation… not painful

Custom Herbal Formula Prescribed:

5 Ashwagandha (for the muscle…soothes Vata and Kapha but doesn’t disturb Pitta)

3 shatavari -

3 musta - pain in upper back and digestive issues are based on striations of finger nails

4 Dashamula (for lower back pain and digestive…soothes Vata, Pitta but doesn’t disturb

Kapha), 3 licorice - best herb to sooth vata and offer sweetness

5 bacopa - soothes vata and kapha, does not disturb pitta Directions: 1/2 teaspoon 3x times per day for 6 weeks taken with 8oz of hot water (with raw honey for taste if needed) 40minutes before meals to help with colon

Herbal Oils (Massage, Nasya):

Apply oil prior to bath, the water pushes the oil, they repel each other and make the oil go deeper into tissue

Apply 3 to 5 Nasya drops twice daily mornings and evenings

Other Recommendations:

•Use sunflower (a neutral) not warming or too cooling oil.

•Follow Vata Pitta soothing diet

Notes:

•aromatherapy is great for shifting pain. Apply directly to each chakra

•Increase dairy intake and calcium supplements

•Avoid caffeine consumption

•Dehydrated due to lack of water, already started showing signs with dryness in skin.

•Apply sesame oil, it absorbs into skin nightly to soles of feet and legs. Avoid toasted.

•Vata should keep sleep to a min 6 hrs, strive toward 8

•poor circulation, cinnamon and cardamom are good cooking herbs
